In recent years,
horse & pony owners have taken almost as much
interest in researching their equines' ancestors as
other people take in researching their own family
trees. And with breed association
information, journals, and now the internet
available, there is probably more information out
there on your horses' forbearers than there is on
your own! The problem is finding and sorting
through all of that information.
This site is
intended to be a central repository for information
and photos on the horses and ponies that have had an
influence on today's equine. If you are
looking for a particular horse or pony, I recommend
that you start by going either to the
Site Map or to one of
the
Photo Indexes.
